Biology : Similar to S. piriei, but: tepals c. 1,5 times as long as stamens, and pollen grains rugulose; with an unpleasant smell “resembling putrid fish”.
Ecology : On Acacia caffra, A. capensis, A. karroo, A. xanthophloea, Ekebergia.
  S. Africa.
