Biology : Variable procumbent to erect perennial ± woody herb 0,1-1m long with white to fulvous appressed to spreading pilosity on stems, branches and petioles.
Ecology : Open and wooded grassland; deciduous woodland; grassland in sandy soil by lake and marsh edges; Brachystegia woodland, etc.; rocky ground; sometimes a weed; old cultivations; bushland; sandy roadsides; edge of forest gallery; 15-2150 m alt.
