Biology : Shrub or rhizomatous shrublet to 60 cm tall (? or more); branches ±widely spreading, usually markedly flattened; flowers appearing before the leaves.
Ecology : Open woodland and grassland on Kalahari sand plains; 1050- 1250 m alt. Namibia.
