Biology : Epiphytic herb with leafy branched stems to 25 cm long and extensive root system; leaves elliptical, fleshy, 1-1,6 x c. 0,2 cm, curved, folded along midvein, apex sharply pointed; infloresences < 1 mm long, opposite leaves, 1-flowered; flowers white; tepals elliptical, 4-5,5 x 1,2-1,7 mm; lip obovate-rhomboid, 4x4 mm, apex acuminate; spur c. 4 mm long, slender, straight.
Ecology : Shrubby fringe of inselberg; upper slopes of mountains near the coast; forest rich in Burseraceae (e.g. Dacryodes); in mosses on branches 3-5 cm Ø of trees fallen down from the canopy; 600-1200 m alt.
  Near A. pungens but with smaller leaves.
  Cultivated in a greenhouse at Wageningen (Netherlands).
