  In Rwanda the Nyungwe forest is one of the most species-rich montane forests in Central and Eastern Africa with: Impatiens nyungwensis, Begonia pulcherrima, etc. (vide Bouxin G., Bull. Jard. Bot. Belg. 44: 149-159, 1974).
