Ecology : Closed forest, riverine thickets; 350-1650 m alt; collected once in Kenya (Kahamega Forest, 1550 m alt.); in western Uganda forests (Eilu in Lidia 4 / 4: 108, 1999). Tropics (possibly introduced from tropical America).
