Biology : Dwarf shrub, 8-45 cm tall, much-branched and frequently at the base, 5-50 cm high; branches ramose.
Ecology : Chiefly on sandy or loamy soil in or near pans; open places in Acacia bush; overgrazed places; alluvial flood plains. Botswana, Namibia, S. Africa (Transvaal, Cape Prov.).
