Biology : Annual herb ± 0,5-1,5 m tall, bushy or straggling, with many branching irregular, not divaricate nor spine-tipped.
Ecology : Open deciduous woodland, near streams or in seasonal swamps; gallery forest; densely shaded thickets or forests; also as a ruderal; 760-970 m alt. Botswana; Madagascar.
