Biology : Perennial herb, often rather woody at the base, scandent, trailing in out-line.
Ecology : Mostly at dry forest edges, along rides and in clearings; also open woodland, bush, along rivers – apparently always in more or less undisturbed habitats; 1000-2200 m alt. N Yemen.
