Biology : Herb 30-45 cm tall; corm 1,5-2 cm Ø; leaves basal (2-3) and cauline (2); spike erect, 2-6-flowered; flowers white to cream; perianth tube 3,3-3,5 cm long, tepals 2,8-3 cm; stamen filaments included or exserted for less than 2 mm from the tube; capsule and seeds unknown.
Ecology : Moist habitats near streams; seasonally marshy sites; locally common; 1100-2000 m alt.
  Near G. oligophlebius.
