Biology : Herb 40-60 cm tall; corm 1,4-1,8 cm Ø; leaf blades erect, grass-like, 8-15x0,6-1 cm; stem simple, 30-60 cm tall; spike 1-2-flowered; anther appendages 4-5 mm long; capsule unknown.
Ecology : Marsh; seasonally inundated water-logged soil.
  Only known from 3 collections (1903, 1969). A doubtful species. – Described from S. Chad, Lake Iro (10°05’Nx19°24’E); not mapped (map in Goldblatt, l.c.).
