Biology : Herb 0,3-1,3 m tall; corm depressed globose, 1,5-2,5 cm Ø; leaves 4-6; 2-3 basal, 0,8-1,2 cm wide, densely pubescent on margins and veins; spike 7-14-flowered; bracts 2-4 cm long; flowers cream to ivory, sometimes flushed with pink, or pink to purple with lower 3 tepals cream with a central yellow band; tube 1,5-3,5 cm long; tepals unequal, the dorsal largest, 2,5-3,5 cm long.
Ecology : Woodland on rocky sites; 1450-2000 m alt.
  Near G. intonsus.
