Biology : Robust epiphyte; stem c. 11 cm long, 1-1,5 cm ; roots numerous, long, 3-5 mm , greyish with orange apices; leaves to 15, distichous, coriaceous, with black dots beneath, obovate to clavate, falcate, 10-24x5,5-9,5 cm, tip unequally 2-lobed, lobes 0,8-1,6 cm and 2-3,3 cm, respectively, margins undulate; inflorescences 1-3, pendent, 45-80 cm long, up to 40-flowered; peduncle 20 cm long; flowers white, tinged salmon, c. 4 cm ; pedicel and ovary 3 cm long; tepals oblong, acute, c. 2,4-3x0,6 cm; lip 2,4-3x0,7-1 cm; spur at first greenish aging salmon, slightly curved, filiform, 5-6 cm long, 1,3 mm at base.
Ecology : Forest edge, on a big branch; < 100 m alt.
  Flowers much resembling those of A. biloba but larger.
  Known only from the type locality.
