Biology : Epiphytic dwarf creeping herb; pseudobulbs 0,3-2,5 cm apart, 6-12-leaved, orbicular-ovoid, 0,4-0,8x0,3-0,7 cm; leaves linear, acute, resembling pine needles, 0,2-1,2x0,3-0,7 cm, fleshy; inflorescence c. 2 cm long, 1(-2)-flowered; peduncle wiry, c. 2 cm long, covered in sheaths; rachis 0,4 mm long, with some fine dark hairs; bracts sheathing, recurved; flowers recurved, brick-red or pinkish orange, petals straw-coloured; sepals ovate, 4x3-4 mm; petals obliquely elliptical, 1,8-1,2 mm; lip mobile, somewhat recurved, broadly ovate, 2-2,5x2-2,5 mm.
Ecology : Evergreen forest; rain-forest; riverine forest; in the canopy of large trees, on, e.g., Parinari excelsa; c. 2000 m alt.
