Biology : Epiphytic or lithophytic herb with stems to 2 m long, very leafy; leaves elliptic, 9-28x2-5 cm; inflorescences axillary, pendent, to 30 cm long, 16-60-flowered; flowers yellowish to orange, small, c. 3 mm long; lip 3-dentate at apex; spur filiform, to 12 mm long, apex inflated.
Ecology : Probably related to D. ichneumonea (Droissart & al., o.c.: 287).
  Endemic to Príncipe; in forest, and in dense clusters covering rocks, heliophilous, 300-400 m alt.
