Biology : Epiphytic herb to 7 cm tall; pseudobulbs 0,5-2 cm apart, 2-leaved, ovoid-ellipsoid, 1-2x0,4-1 cm, obtusely 4-angled; leaves oblong-elliptic, 1-3x0,3-0,7 cm, thick, apex emarginate; inflorescence from base of pseudobulb, to 6,5 cm long, to 7-flowered; peduncle to 3,5 cm long; rachis slightly angular; bracts ovate-lanceolate, acute, 2-4 mm long; flowers non-resupinate, patent, ± sessile, white or very pale pink; sepals oblong-lanceolate, acute, c. 4,5-5,2x2,5-4 mm, upper margins of lateral sepals > 6,5 mm long; petals transversely oblong, apiculate, 0,5-1 mm; lip incurved, ovate-lanceolate, 4,5-5 mm long, U-formed in section, pink with yellow apex, apex shortly 3-lobed, side lobes very short and rounded, mid lobe recurved, much larger and nearly orbicular, entirely adnate to the lower surface of the lip; wings of column with a large deltoid-shaped projection on each side of the stigmatic cavity; spur conical-saccate, 3 mm long.
Ecology : Margin of mist-forest; forest; on tree trunk; c. 1500-2260 m alt.
