Biology : Erect or arching perennial herb 1,2-1,5 m tall with reddish angular stem and branches abundantly spreading pilose with slender white tapering hairs, and somewhat uncinulate-pubescent.
Ecology : Grassland on sandy soil; Brachystegia woodland (including mixed Uapaca, Parinari, Julbernardia, etc.); marshy grassland at rivulet; sometimes common in open forest; 930-2100 m alt.
  Confused with Pseudarthria hookeri.
