Biology : Shrub c. 1 m, with velvety-pubescent branchlets; leaves opposite to alternate, thinly coriaceous, green or grey-green; corolla-tube short (2-3 mm, not 4-5 mm), green, with tongues projecting in between lobes at top.
Ecology : Deciduous bushland, mixed woodland (middle tributaries and reaches of Zambezi R.); usually on Combretum, Grewia, Acacia or other legumes.
