Biology : Shrub with slightly flattened puberulous branchlets, soon glabrescent; leaves subopposite; flowers on short lateral branches; corolla dull yellow to red; lobes short, erect, keeled; fruit unknown.
Ecology : Forest edges, wooded grassland; on Ficus, Bridelia, Combretum.
  1000-1450 m alt. A. entebbensis is perhaps a synonym.
