Biology : Glabrous shrub; twigs slightly compressed, later terete; leaves alternate to opposite; corolla long, red, yellow to orange over vents, with blackish red tips; lobes erect; fruit unknown.
Ecology : Riverine and montane forest; on various hosts but also a pest of coffee.
  900-2400 m alt.
