Biology : Well-branched shrub; branchlets ± compressed, densely pubescent with short stiff spreading hairs, older ones glabrescent, grey, cracked; leaves opposite and subopposite; corolla greenish yellow to orange-red; lobes rather long, erect; fruit unknown.
Ecology : Riverine forest, wooded grassland and bushland; on various hosts, incl. Combretum, Ficus.
  1100-1500 m alt.
