Ecology and distribution
Trop. Afr.
Biology : Spreading shrub to 1 m; branchlets slightly compressed, densely puberulous, with very short branched hairs; leaves subopposite; corolla yellow-orange, rather small with short erect lobes.
Ecology : Forest on firm ground and with Gilbertiodendron dewevrei; on various hosts (e.g. Persea americana, Bridelia grandis at 20-25 m above the ground), incl. other Loranthaceae as an epiparasite (fide Polhill & Wiens 1998: 182).
