Biology : Annual herb, erect or rarely ascending, 10-75(-100) cm high; then ascending, 25 cm long; leaves large, flat.
Ecology : Weed of cultivation; roadsides; disturbed ground near dwellings; sea-shores; 0-1200 m alt. Cosmopolitan in tropical and subtropical regions of the World; widely penetrating into temperate regions. – Asian origin?
