Biology : Herb 30 cm tall with fibrous roots c. 2 mm Ø, apparently without tubers; leaves linear, glabrous, blue-green, 20-28x0,4-1,1 cm; peduncle 10-15 cm tall; pedicels 2-4 mm long; bracts acute, 3 cm long; tepals oblong-obtuse, 5-7 mm long, white; capsule yellowish brown, ellipsoid, 3-5 mm high, 3 mm wide, slightly emarginate.
Ecology : Hills of rocks, rocky hills covered with a forest-like vegetation of trees and shrubs or woody savanna; wooded grassland, possibly in swampy conditions; 300-900 m alt.
