Biology : Herb to 30 cm tall; rhizome moniliform, fibrous; roots with distal tubers; leaves 5-9 in 2 rows, linear, 7-24 cm x 2-6 mm, folded, usually ± curved, minutely scabrous along margins and sometimes on main veins; raceme unbranched, rachis glabrous; peduncle terete, glabrous or very sparsely papillate; flowers 1-2 per node; pedicels 3,5-8 mm long, erect, articulated near base, glabrous; tepals white or with pink tips, 6-10 mm long, 3-nerved; capsule 3,5-6x5-6,5 mm with very prominent raised transverse ridges, perianth forming an apical beak.
Ecology : Hollows between limestone blocks; c. 2040 m alt.
  Near C. cameronii, C. ramosissimum.
