Perennial herb with short woody rhizome; culms 40-60-90 cm long, 1-2 mm Ø, smooth, trigonous, glabrous, base bulbous; leaves few, shorter than culms or equal, 1,5-3 mm wide, rigid, folded, apex lightly scabrous; inflorescence a simple or compound anthela with 2-8 rays strongly unequal, to 1-8 cm long; spike of 6-15 spikelets; these spreading, strongly compressed, 0,8-1,5 cm x 2 mm, 12-24-flowered. |
