Biology : bracts 4-7 mm long; racemes dense with (6-)7-10 flowers per cm; plant sessile or with sprawling stems.
Ecology : On rocky hillsides and sandy alluvial plains in open (degraded) Acacia-Commiphora-Balanites bushland; on limestone or sand; frequently planted on graves; 1100-1850 m alt.
