Ecology : Ferruginous hard-pan; oozing rocks; swamp on bowal. Component of the Utriculario subulatae-Eriocauletum pumili association: low-growing stands (to 10 cm tall) colonizing seasonally inundated ponds in rock depressions and over lateritic crusts
