Biology : Epiphytic herb with pendent leafy stem to 50 cm long; leaves oblong-lanceolate, 2-4x0,3-0,6 cm, flat, fleshy, spaced close together, sharply pointed; inflorescences in leaf axils, sessile, 1-flowered; flowers white; tepals narrowly elliptic, 6-7x2 mm; lip suborbiculate, 4x5 mm; spur subcylindric, 4-5 mm long, pointed.
Ecology : Dense forest; swampy forest seasonally flooded, with Oxystigma mannii; riverine forest; on trees up to 30 m above ground, on Gilbertiodendron dewevrei; 50-1800 m alt.
  Resembling A. atlanticum, A. gabonense.
  Poorly collected.
