Biology : Epiphytic small herb; pseudobulbs 1(-2)-leafed, ± ovoid, 3-8 mm apart, 8-14x6-10 mm; leaves ligulate-lanceolate, acute, 2,5-7,5x0,8-1,2 cm; inflorescence c. 12 cm long, peduncle orbicular in cross section, glabrous; rachis 7 cm long, 15-27-flowered; bracts recurved, triangular, 2-3,5x1,5-2 mm; flowers in a lax ± patent raceme, appressed to rachis; sepals ± oblong, c. 3x1 mm, yellow-green, purple-marked; petals lanceolate, c. 1,8x0,8 mm; lip recurved, oblong, 1,5x0,8 mm, red, edges finely lacerate.
Ecology : Evergreen forest; c. 915-1000 m alt.
  Perhaps also in Zambia, Kalene Hills, Zambezi Rapids (11°10’Sx24°12’E).
