Biology : Dwarf epiphytic herb; pseudobulbs 1-3,5 cm apart, 1-leafed, ± globose, 0,6-1x0,6-1 cm, obtusely 4-angled, glossy or yellow-green; leaf fleshy, oblong, 2-5x0,6-1 cm; inflorescence 1,5-3,5 cm long, 4-10-flowered; peduncle 1-1,8 cm long; rachis 1-2 cm long; bracts recurved, ovate, 3-3,5x1,5-2 mm, white, scarious; flowers white with yellow lip, not fully open; sepals ovate, 4-6x2-3 mm; petals oblong, c. 2x1 mm; lip tongue-like, recurved, oblong, 2,5-3x1 mm, fleshy, base geniculate.
Ecology : Brachystegia-Uapaca woodland; forest; in bright dry areas; usually on large horizontal branches, in crown of trees, at high level; usually on Uapaca; 640-1250 m alt.
