Biology : Epiphytic herb; pseudobulbs 2-3,5 cm apart, 2-leaved, ± ovoid, 3,5-7x1-2 cm, flattened, 4-angled; leaves petiolate (10-20 mm), ± linear, 11-20x1-2,4 cm; inflorescence 10-40 cm long, 8-34-flowered; peduncle swollen, flattened above, 5-10 cm long; rachis flat, 6-30 cm long, 2,5-8 mm wide, with sharp edges; bracts reflexed, oblong, 3-6,5x1,5-2,5 mm; flowers distichous, not fully open, reddish; sepals elliptic, 4-7x2-4 mm, ciliate outside, papillose inside; petals obliquely ovate, 1-2x1 mm, glabrous; lip ovate, 3x1,5 mm, with 2 ridges.
Ecology : Forests; 0-850 m alt.
