Biology : Epiphytic herb; pseudobulbs 5-10 cm apart, 2-leaved, ± cylindrical, 6-11x1-2 cm; leaves petiolate (0,4-2 cm), ovate, 10-20x3-6 cm; inflorescence 20-40 cm long, 25-50-flowered; peduncle 14-21 cm long; rachis widened, flattened, blade-like, 9-19 cm long, 2,7-5 cm wide, edges sharp, dark green with purple stains; bracts triangular, reflexed, 1,8-3x1,4-2,2 mm; flowers distichous, borne on an excentric line on rachis, not fully open, yellow tinged with purple; sepals ovate, 4-9x1,5-3 mm; petals linear-lanceolate, 4-6x0,3-1 mm; lip ± orbicular, 3-4x2-3 mm, apex reflexed, margins denticulate.
Ecology : Forest; riverine forest; secondary forest; fringes of inselbergs; 400-1250 m alt.
