Biology : Epiphytic herb; pseudobulbs 0,5-1,2 cm apart, 1-leafed, ovoid, 0,5-1,5x0,4-0,8 cm, yellow green or purplish, 4-angled; leaf ± linear, 1,5-7x0,2-0,7 cm, fleshy; inflorescence erect, 0,8-6,5 cm long, densely 4-25-flowered; peduncle 0,6-2,5 cm long; rachis 0,2-4,5 cm long; bracts recurved, ovate-oblong, 5-7x1,5-2,8 mm; flowers recurved, not fully open, cream or yellow, centre purplish; sepals recurved, narrowly lanceolate, 4-6,5x0,8-1,5 mm; petals not recurved, (linear-)lanceolate, 2-2,4x0,3-0,6 mm; lip recurved, ± oblong, 1,3-1,9x0,5-0,9 mm, papillose, with seam-like lateral lobes.
Ecology : Lowland evergreen forest; mangrove forest (on Rhizophora sp.); shrub forest on granite hill top; savanna woodland; oil palm plantation.
