Biology : Epiphytic herb; pseudobulbs 2-9 cm apart, 2-leaved, 4-angled, narrowly ovoid, 3-6x2 cm, covered with sheaths; leaves linear-lanceolate, 5,5-18x0,5-1,5 cm; inflorescence 13-30 cm long, densely 24-50-flowered; peduncle 9-15 cm long; rachis erect, zigzag, terete, 6,5-14 cm long; bracts recurved, ± triangular, 5,5-7x3 mm; flowers yellow or pale green, distichous; sepals triangular, 5-8x1,5-3 mm, the laterals sharply recurving; petals not recurved, lanceolate, 1,4-1,8x0,2-0,4 mm; lip recurved, ovate-oblong, 1,4-2x0,5-1 mm, margins finely papillate; fruit known ?
Ecology : Rain-forest; on trees, e.g. Parinari holstii, Syzygium guineense, in moss cushions; 1800-2350 m alt.
  Occurring only around Lake Kivu.
