Biology : Pseudobulbs 1 cm apart, 1-leafed, orbicular-ovoid, c. 3x3 cm, flattened, sharply 2-angled; leaf petiolate (1,5 cm), lanceolate, c. 9,5x2,5 cm, thick; inflorescence c. 95 cm long, c. 45-flowered; peduncle patent, c. 80 cm long; rachis erect, c. 15 cm long; bracts recurved, lanceolate, c. 22x7 mm, acute-acuminate; flowers scattered, yellowish, ± recurved; sepals 12x3-3,6 mm, acute; petals not recurved, linear, c. 4,8-x0,3 mm, acute; lip linear-lanceolate, c. 8,5x1,2 mm, slightly constricted in basal half, margins with thick purple hairs, in top half hairs to 6 mm long; fruit unknown.
Ecology : Primary forest, in a swampy place, on a dead tree; c. 570 m alt.
  Known only from the type (de Wilde & al. 183).
