Biology : Epiphytic, rarely lithophytic herb; pseudobulbs 1-2 cm apart, 2-leaved, ovoid, 4-angled, 1-3,5x1,2-2,3 cm; leaves lanceolate, 8-12x1-1,5 cm; inflorescence 22-34 cm long, 6-20-flowered; peduncle 19-31 cm long; rachis nodding, 3-4 cm long; bracts recurved, ovate, 2-3,5x1,7-2 mm; flowers not fully open, brownish green often striated purple, lip orange; sepals ovate-oblong 5-8x2,1-3 mm; petals elliptic-oblong, 3,8-4,2x c. 2 mm, margins denticulate; lip recurved, elliptic, 3-3,6x1,5-2,2 mm.
Ecology : Forest; on boulders in open vegetation; 900-1200 m alt.
