Biology : Epiphytic, sometimes lithophytic herb; pseudobulbs 2-4,5 cm apart, 2-leaved, narrowly ovoid, 1-4x0,6-1,7 cm, slightly flattened, 4-angled; leaves ± lanceolate, 3-9x0,6-1,3 cm, midrib prominent below; inflorescence 5-20 cm long, 2-8-flowered; peduncle 4,3-15,5 cm long; rachis nodding, 4-angled in section, 1,2-5,5 cm long, edges ± sharp; bracts spreading, ± deltoid, 5-8x3,5-7 mm; flowers borne on the 2 concave sides of rachis, not fully open, creamy white or flesh coloured; sepals not recurved, triangular, 4,5-9x3-7 mm; petals not recurved, elliptic, oblique, 4-6x2,3-3,8 mm, rounded; lip recurved, elliptic, 2-5x1,4-2,5 mm, thick.
Ecology : Forest, forest edges, often in very exposed places; gorges in forest; in outer part of tree crowns, on small branches in moss and lichens, in humus deposits; on boulders in grassland; 1000-1800 m alt.
