Biology : Epiphytic or lithophytic herb; pseudobulbs 0,2-0,8 cm apart, 1-leafed, ovoid-orbicular, 0,2-0,5x0,2-0,4 cm, 3-5-angled; leaf ± oblong, 0,4-1,8x0,4-0,6 cm, thick; inflorescence 2-3 cm long, 1-3-flowered; peduncle wiry, 1,7-2,6 cm long; rachis 0,2 cm long; bracts recurved, oblong, acute, 2,8-x1,2 mm, membranous; flowers recurved, pale brownish red; sepals ovate, c. 2,6x1,2 mm; petals obovate, 1,3x0,8 mm, acuminate; lip elliptic-ovate, 1-1,5x1 mm, recurved about half-way, margins with white hairs.
Ecology : Rain-forest rich in Caesalpiniaceae; hill forest; in crown of trees, in moss and with Peperomia sp., humus deposits; on rock outcrops (inselberg); 150-900 m alt.
