Biology : Epiphytic herb; pseudobulbs 2-leaved, narrowly cylindrical, 6,5-9,5x0,2-0,4 cm, violet; leaves lanceolate, 5,5-8x1 cm, green with violet midrib and margins; inflorescence rather dense, 14-22 cm long, 22-50-flowered; bracts elliptic, 6 mm long; flowers glabrous, yellowish green, tinged with violet; sepals linear-triangular, 5,5x2 mm; petals linear, 2x0,7 mm; lip linear, 4x0,6 mm, shortly ciliate; fruit unknown.
Ecology : Forest, scrub; on tree branches; 1800 m alt.
  Near B. vulcanicum.
  Known only from the summit of Mt Kupe; discovered in 1985; only type known.
