Biology : Epiphytic herb; stem 0,2-1,5 cm long, simple; leaves 3-12, ensiform, acute, 1,5-4,4x0,5-1 cm, somewhat succulent, upper surface without a groove; inflorescence lax, 1-11 cm long, 2-24-flowered; bracts triangular, acuminate, 1,7-3,1x1,3-2,2 mm, sheathing, brown, smaller than flowers; flowers white with pink centre, 3-8 mm long; lip elliptic, 1,6-3x0,8-1,5 mm, obscurely 3-lobed; spur 1,3-2,3 mm long, greenish, at right angle with lip.
Ecology : Dense humid forest; forest with Gilbertiodendron dewevrei, in the canopy on small twigs; often in outer canopy of rain-forest trees; riverbanks; inselbergs; disturbed areas, sometimes in direct sunlight; coffee plantations; on old mossy trunks 0,5-1 m above ground; 0-100-2000 m alt.
