Ecology and distribution

Biology : Epiphytic herb; stems to c. 30 cm long; leaves oblong, flat, 3,5-6x1-1,3 cm; inflorescences 1-flowered; flower colour unknown; sepals subelliptic, c. 7,5x4 mm; petals oblong, c. 6x2,5 mm; lip c. 9 mm long, 5 mm wide, with small basal auricles, 3-lobed in middle; side lobes slender, acuminate, slightly longer than midlobe (triangular); spur c. 15 mm long, slender at first, inflated at apex like a balloon (4 mm Ø).
Ecology : Dense forest; 900 m alt.
  Known only from the type collected in 1957 (described in 1990).
