Biology : Epiphytic herb; stems to 42 cm long; leaves linear-ligulate, to 15x0,7 cm, articulated to leaf sheaths to 2 cm long; inflorescences to 8 cm long, several-flowered; flowers white, with pleasant scent; bracts cucullate, broad, 6 mm long; pedicel and ovary 5-9 mm long; sepals oblong, 8-12x3-5 mm; petals oblong-spathulate, c. 8-12x4 mm; lip broadly flabellate-cucullate, 9 mm long, 15 mm wide, auriculate at base, 3-lobed in apical half; side lobes oblong-flabellate, 4,5x4,5 mm, apical margins erose-dentate; midlobe triangular, c. 2 mm long; spur filiform, 40-50 mm long, straight.
Ecology : Mist forest; 1800 m alt.
  Known only from the type collected in 1931.
