Biology : Epiphytic herb; stems elongated, to 30 cm long, rarely branched; leaves numerous, ligulate, 6-11x0,7-1 cm; inflorescences 2-6 cm long (2-6 mm in Summerhayes, Kew Bull. 3: 295, 1948), many-flowered; flowers resupinate, small, white, fragrant; bracts ovate, 1 mm long; pedicel and ovary c. 2 mm long; sepals + ovate, c. 3x1,5 mm; petals oblong-lanceolate, c. 3x1 mm; lip c. 3x2 mm, auriculate at base, 3-lobed in middle; midlobe triangular, c. 3x2 mm; side lobes ligulate, projecting forwards, denticulate, c. 1 mm long; spur < 1 mm long, not swollen above base.
Ecology : Forest; 440 m alt. (Gabon).
  Said to resemble T. armeniaca but leaves smaller and spur very short.
