Biology : Lithophytic herb; stems ± pendent, 17-110 cm long, with few roots; leaves elliptic, 8-18x0,8-1,6 cm, coriaceous, conduplicate, ± imbricate at stem apex; inflorescences 3-5 arising below leaves, 2,5-6,5 cm long, 6-12-flowered; flowers small, yellow or orange; bracts 1-2 mm long; pedicel and ovary c. 3 mm long; sepals ovate-triangular, c. 5x2 mm; petals linear, 4-5x1 mm, margins ciliate; lip 4-6 mm long, auriculate at base, auricles very small and very thick, 3-lobed in apical third; side lobes spreading, triangular, c. 3-4x1 mm, entire; midlobe triangular, c. 2 mm long; spur 6-13 mm long, slightly inflated in middle.
Ecology : On granitic rocks in exposed positions; 750-1070 m alt.
