Ecology : Sandy river banks or sandy soils in dry, deciduous Acacia or Colophospermum-Sclerocarya-Combretum-Spirostachys mixed woodland. Botswana, S. Africa (Transvaal, Orange Free State, Cape), Namiba, Caprivi Strip.
