Biology : Annual herb 0,2-1 m tall, simple below the inflorescence or weak, to >1 m long.
Ecology : Grassland, light scrub, cultivated ground, cleared Acacia- Commiphora thickets and open Brachystegia woodland on hardpan and sand; roadsides on sandy or light yellow soil; shaded bush, abandoned shambas; 855-1830 m alt.
