Ecology and distribution
Trop. Afr.
Biology : Many-stemmed shrub to 1,2 m tall; stems woody, cylindrical, thick, densely spreading yellowish-hairy; leaves usually alternate, petiole 1-2 cm long, blade elliptic-obovate, 8-20x4-12 cm, light green, shiny above, with a double indumentum beneath.
Ecology : Mixed woodlands; edges of swamps; fire-damaged woodland on Kalahari sand.
