Trop. Afr.
Biology : Much-branched perennial herb 14-36 cm tall, with a woody, the base.
Ecology : Termite-mounds, at the dry fringe of a dambo and in watershed grassland; perhaps confined to black cotton soil (Fl. Zambes. area); sandy savanna on poor soil; to 1600 m alt.
