Biology : Erect, decumbent or prostrate annual or short-lived perennial 4-20 cm long; leaves linear, 1-1,5 cm long, n-dichotomous with narrow ridges decurrent from the petiole bases.

Ecology : Open dry bushland, wadi-beds, grassland; also weed of roadsides and cultivation, especially on sandy soils; stony and rocky sites, among limestone boulders; clayey soils; 0-1800 m alt.
